Pui was born in Hong Kong and received her high school and university education in the United States of America. She received her Master of Science degree in Art Therapy at the Florida State University, Tallahassee, USA, Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA. She also received intensive trainings in counselling, trauma and loss in children, art therapy and art education.
Upon graduation, Pui passionately provided both verbal counselling and art therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and elderly in various settings, including counselling center for women with emotional and relationship crisis, elementary, middle, high school and school for students with special needs, and emergency room, rehabilitation hospital, and department of psychiatry.
Pui enjoys and is committed to promoting mental health awareness. She has provided psycho-education and art therapy workshops in different organizations and university in both America and Hong Kong. She also provided counselling and art therapy services to the victims of Hurricane Katrina through the process of art making and group discussion in Mississippi, USA as a volunteer.
Pui provides verbal counselling, art therapy, and workshops such as self-expression, self-esteem, anger management, etc. in both English and Cantonese.
She specializes in helping clients with adjustment difficulties, mental health concerns, emotional and relationship issues, trauma and loss, and anyone who has a desire to make a positive change in his or her life.
